Abraxas Youth Center's philosophy is to teach clients to modify their behavior and alter their cognitive processes associated with offending.
Clients are taught to be accountable for their actions and recognize the consequences for inappropriate behavior.
Programs place a strong emphasis on teaching clients to improve their social skills and maintain awareness of their irresponsible behavior patterns.
Abraxas programs focus on behavioral and cognitive treatment modalities, building meaningful relationships, and provide a safe environment that encourages long-term change.
