The purpose of Bethany Child Development Center is to encourage and to support the development of the individual child by providing an ever-changing variety of appropriate materials and equipment which facilitates opportunities for discovery and exploration at each child's own developmental pace.
Emphasis is given to the areas of emotional, physical, social, spiritual and intellectual development with increased challenges made in the various areas as the children mature.
The United Methodist Weekday Ministries curriculum is the basis for our program, enhanced by a compilation of the best creative curriculum philosophies accumulated through years of workshops and continuing education.
The curriculum is developmentally appropriate. Bethany CDC recognizes that a child is always learning and developing.
Each day brings an opportunity to play, to investigate and to express ideas through hands-on learning experiences in group living, creative activities, field trips, language experiences, music experiences, health and safety education, indoor/outdoor play and rest, and eating together.
