Their teachers are highly qualified with advanced degrees. The school system currently pays for teachers to earn advanced degrees and ongoing credits to maintain their teacher's licenses. The continuing and ongoing professional development are cutting-edge. They are well-trained and up to date with current best teaching practices. They have implemented the research on the science of reading and are currently training their teachers to train others in the nationally acclaimed LTRS program. They have a reading specialist and an extensive special education program that currently has a waiting list. They have classes for gifted students as well. They do not have the teacher turnover that is often typical with smaller private schools across the country. The culture is very inclusive and faith-based. The athletic program offers many opportunities that you just don't see in public schools for younger students. They have art, a gym, a library, technology, and an excellent music program. They offer a top-notch orchestra program starting in fifth grade. They have a science club starting in first grade, a chess club, and many other extracurricular programs. The curriculum is challenging and parents are provided with up-to-date and ongoing data for math and literacy 3 times a year. As well as spring standardized testing. This school is a blessing to the community and welcoming to all.
