School Notes

  • Bradford Area Christian Academy (BACA) was established in 1983 with the purpose of partnering with families in their God-given responsibility to train the next generation of Christian leaders for a lifetime of service and devotion to their Savior, homes, churches, vocations, and communities.
  • We remain steadfast to upholding the truth of God`s Word and to training students how to view their entire world through the lens of the Bible. Therefore, both curricular and extra-curricular programs are based on principles set forth in God's Word. One of BACA's goals is to see each child accept Christ as personal Savior and to help him/her make a commitment to lead a life that would be pleasing to Him. As the Bible says: "Train up a child in the way he should go." (Proverbs 22:6).
  • Bradford Area Christian Academy serves the educational needs of students inPreSchool 3 through 12th gradeand aims to maintain a student to teacher ratio of 10:1 in PreSchool and Kindergarten and a 12:1 ratio in grades 1-12.
  • Biblically based curriculumis prayerfully selected from Abeka, My Father's World, and Purposeful Design (ACSI) for our Preschool through 8th grade classrooms. Our High School program is through our relationship with Liberty University Online Academy (LUOA) as an Affiliate school with their program. Curriculum through LUOA is Christ-centered and offers a fully accredited program, both internationally and regionally, based on Virginia's Standards of Learning. The courses include content that brings learning to life through videos, interactive lessons, and virtual labs. College courses are also available through Liberty University, along with a Dual Enrollment program specially designed for those students who seek to graduate with both their High School Diploma and an Associates Degree.
  • All students participate in weeklymusic, art, andgymclasses. We encourage students to be Christian leaders in their generation through theLeader In Meprogram. Remedial Readingis available at BACA through the Bradford Area School District, and Enrichment ClassesandRemedial Mathare available at BACA through the Seneca Highlands IU9.
