Our purposes at Brentwood Baptist Christian Academy is to train children and adults in the worshipping arts (music, dance, art, and drama) in order to prepare them to become future leaders in worship; to give our adult leaders a means to pass on their knowledge of the worshipping arts to others; to nurture, encourage, and challenge individuals that need more focused study than can be given in large groups.
(orchestras, choirs, dance groups); to encourage the participation of experienced artists in the Worship Ministry of Brentwood Baptist Church; to strengthen and encourage relationships between BBC and the community; to provide a Christian environment in which to nurture and develop students' creative and artistic skills; to use positive teaching methods, and skilled instructors to nurture new generations of leaders in the arts; to help students grow in their understanding of worship; and to help students develop “life skills” such as responsibility, discipline, respect, determination, and perseverance.
