The Butterhill Day School Was Founded In 1982 To Serve The Growing Needs Of The Local Community For Quality Child Care In A Safe, Nurturing Environment.
Our Senior Staff Members Have Been With Our Organization Almost Since Its Inception And They Have Worked Hard To Create The "Butterhill Way".
We continue to give each new generation of "Butterhill Kids" the same learning and coping skills that have made our other graduates so successful.
The Butterhill Day School realizes the needs of families are many faceted and has designed a program to serve as many of these needs as possible.
Our child care services are a very important aspect of a child's development and the child's family.
They are designed to supplement the love and affection, the teaching and playing - that the child receives at home.
Always, the aim is to contribute to the happy, healthy development of the child and the well being of the family.
We encourage children to be independent physically (in dressing, eating, personal hygiene etc.) and intellectually (in learning to question and make judgments).
We seek to provide children with a secure emotional base through lots of loving, individual attention and familiar routines from which they can learn to respect themselves and others.
We encourage children to be always thoughtful and considerate through the daily interactions of teachers and children.
The Butterhill Day School is a warm and friendly place to be for both children and adults. We welcome new people and new ideas.
