Our family had an exceptional experience at Castlehill Country Day School. We were part of the Castlehill community for 10 years, with my daughter attending from pre-school to 5th grade and my son from Toddler to 5th grade; and I can truly say, it was the best decision for their academic education. The close-knit community creates a warm and supportive environment where every child is truly known and valued. Along with individualized attention, small class size and a strong academic foundation, Castlehill has made a lasting impression on our children. We deeply appreciated the school's traditional teaching approach, including mandatory cursive writing, and emphasis on core academic fundamentals. The opportunities for students to perform and speak in front of groups starting in their Toddler program helps to build confidence and strong communication skills early on. My now 14- and 12-year-old have absolutely no problem speaking in front of large groups and this is a result of their time at Castlehill. Now that our children have graduated and moved on to middle school, we are seeing the true benefit of their education. They are performing above grade level at their new schools and maintaining straight A's. We are so grateful for the foundation Castlehill provided and highly recommend it to any family seeking a nurturing and academically strong elementary education.

Castlehill Country Day School is an exceptional elementary school that thoughtfully balances academic rigor with a nurturing, child-centered environment.My son attended CCDS from Pre-K through 5th grade, and my daughter attended from 3rd through 5th. Both transitioned out of private school and are now excelling academically in their next schools. My daughter is thriving at a well-ranked high school, and my son is flourishing in middle school and is notably ahead of his peers in math, science, language arts, and essential study skills such as note-taking, organization, and following instruction.What truly sets Castlehill apart is its teachers. They are kind, funny, intentional, and deeply invested in each child's growth. The science program, led by Mr. Roberts, is especially strong. He challenges students while remaining approachable and supportive, creating an environment where children feel confident asking questions, taking intellectual risks, and learning from mistakes. Communication with families is thoughtful and clear, and students are held to high expectations while still feeling encouraged and understood.Castlehill places a strong emphasis on community and responsibility. Students learn accountability, respect, and how to contribute meaningfully to their classrooms and the broader school community. The enrichment classes including art, science, library, music, and community teachers were among my children's favorite parts of the week.The field trips are truly outstanding. They are unique, age-appropriate, and thoughtfully planned, culminating in memorable 5th-grade experiences that become lasting milestones for students.Castlehill also made an exceptional education financially accessible for our family through the Arizona Tuition Tax Credit program.The leadership fosters a community that feels values-driven, focused, and warm while remaining modern and forward-thinking. Castlehill provided my children with a strong academic foundation and the confidence to succeed well beyond elementary school. I recommend it without hesitation.

I attended Castlehill from preschool to 5th grade. It made going to school so much fun. The teachers were so nice, caring, and made whatever we were learning fun and engaging. In fact, I am still in contact with some of them. The class sizes are smaller, so I got more one-on-one time with the teacher. I will also learn leadership and how to be a good friend Castlehill also has amazing specials like music and art. In art, we once made sunflowers inspired by Vincent Van Gogh. And in music some of my favorite memories are putting on the Dora and Diego show in preschool and At The Hop in 5th Grade. The science program is one of the best. We learned about cells to electricity and fun experiments to go along with each unit. We also got to play with the baby tortoise and snakes if there was anytime after class. In Spanish, we didn't just learn the language we learned about the culture. And since the world is evolving into using more technology, Castlehill has a whole class based on technology. You learn to type fast and how to navigate the Internet safely. Castlehill has a big library where kids get to discover new books and expand their horizons with new genres. Castlehill is the best school to send your child. I absolutely loved it. And I wish I was still there.
