Educate Equip Inspire Serve: Collegedale Academy High School
Collegedale Academy's high school program serves as the cornerstone of our academic community, attracting students from across the region and the country to pursue their high school education and earn their diplomas.
At CA, we intentionally weave Christian values and spiritual growth into every aspect of student life, including academics, extracurricular activities, and all school events, ensuring a holistic approach to education.
Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our impressive 98% graduation rate, with approximately 96% of our graduates continuing their education at two- or four-year colleges and universities. Additionally, our students consistently outperform state and national averages on the ACT, underscoring the strength of our academic program.
  • SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES
At Collegedale Academy the spiritual focus is very important. We have chapel five days per week and religion classes each year for all students. Students regularly share their faith as chapel speakers. Outreach projects include Blood Assurance, Chambliss Home, Drama, Mission Trips, music trips, and the CAD4Hope annual food drive. The Southern Union Prayer Conference is attended each year. In addition, a Week of Prayer is held each semester. We have a full time chaplain at Collegedale Academy and two full-time and one part-time religion teachers.
  • PHYSICAL & MENTAL HEALTH
At Collegedale Academy, physical development is an important part of the overall educational program. Students are required to take P.E. classes throughout their time at CA. Students are also encouraged to further develop their physical capabilities with after school intramurals, gymnastics, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, and volleyball teams along with various athletic tournaments held throughout the year.
Additionally, we focus on mental health with integrated classroom lessons taught by a licensed mental health counselor, ensuring the well-being of our students. We have one full-time and one part-time licensed mental health counselor available to meet with students upon request.
  • TOURS/TRIPS
Many of our classes include tours such as the Concert band, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Opus choir, and Acro Force gymnastics. Prayer Conference offers students additional traveling opportunities to develop the spiritual component. Students may also travel outside the United States through our international mission trips. In addition, many classes provide field trip opportunities for students to gain deeper insights into the various subject matters represented, including a junior class US history trip to the Washington DC area.
