Cristo Rey prepares students to succeed in college and embark upon rewarding careers.
The school has an innovative Work-Study Program in which every student works one day per week at a leading company in Philadelphia, including law firms, banks, hospitals, universities and other professional corporations. Students gain real work experience and earn real wages that offset the cost of their education, making a Cristo Rey education affordable for our families.

A Cristo Rey student receives: a top quality, college preparatory education, experience in professional work settings, affordable access to college, and support through college graduation.
Through the Work-Study Program, every student works one day per week in leading Philadelphia professional organizations, offsetting the majority of the cost of their education, gaining real work experience, building professional skills, and developing invauable connections across the city.
Cristo Rey has more than 90 job partners across the Philadelphia area in a range of industries including business, law, healthcare, technology, operations, media and more.
The wages students earn in the Work-Study Program combined with the funds donated by generous benefactors make Cristo Rey Philadelphia affordable to families.The average family contribution is $140 per month. Family contribution is based upon family income and size.
Our Blue Pride Athletics program is competitive with many sport offerings, including soccer, basketball, cross country, track & field, cheerleading, dance, volleyball, golf, rugby, baseball and softball.
We also offer a range of clubs and leadership opportunities including Leadership Council, Student Ambassadors, House Captains, Campus Ministry Student Leaders, Choir, Robotics and more.
Outside of core courses, students can choose among an array of elective options including: Engineering, Data Analytics, Creative Writing, History Through Film, Psychology, Art Portfolio, Voices of Social Justice and more.
