EMA utilizes the Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program (LiPS) for Reading, Spelling, and Speech
Instruction in the LiPS program is tailored to an individual`s learning level and students` progress at their own pace.
Instruction in other subjects occurs in a highly supportive environment with small class sizes per Florida educational standards

This is a very person-centered school, we are on our 2nd year here and since 10th grade my child is studying sociology, forensics and similar subjects. There isn't a huge focus on homework, which is key for kids who may be gifted but also have disabilities, in which too much homework can cause burnout. Teachers are caring and the staff are responsive. We have appreciated the change of pace and focus on restoring confidence of children.

My child went from a "D" student at another private school to an honor roll student at EMA. They take the time to work with your child and help them to build confidence.

This school is a great place for students with dyslexia or other reading struggles. The students are in a judgment free zone with teachers that understand how to help them. My son's confidence has grown greatly. He no longer fights reading at home and he is receiving good grades.
