School Notes

  • Our mission is to provide children with learning and attention difficulties the support, care, and instruction they need to reach their full potential and to become life-long learners.
  • At Emerald City School we believe that education should be a transformative experience. Academic interests should be kindled and developed, while areas of challenge may be strengthened so that they never present a roadblock to success. The foundation of our academic program comes from a deep understanding that each student learns differently and can learn. Thus, we use diverse curricula that develop students’ core skills and knowledge for college and career success. We optimize learning by evidence-based pedagogies, explicit skill instruction, and clear learning objectives. Our students thrive in small class sizes and 1:1 behavioral and content mastery interventions.
  • Emerald City Clinic (ECC) uses enthusiastic, cooperative, and personalized service delivery to improve lives.ECC stresses cross-disciplinary team effort and synchronization of services to evince meaningful changes for people with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in all aspects of their lives. Our systematic application of each intervention is geared to increase socially significant behavior and mitigate against responding that may hamper an individual’s ability to learn. Grounded in the science of applied behavior analysis (ABA), we operate using evidence-based practices to foster growth within individualized programming for skill acquisition. ECC guides students through the maintenance of these skills with programmed generalization.ECC offers a team of caring and accomplished professionals that help each unique student unlock their potential. Our highly trained and dedicated staff is here to help you each step of the way.
