We have two kids who attend this school. We love the atmosphere and our kids love the school. Sending them here was the best decision we have made as parents. The info here is outdated though. Tuition is $6000 for the year and softball and baseball is no longer a sport at the school. Class sizes are the same listed 9/1 ratio. They are a member of ODACS (Old Dominion Association of Christian Schools) and compete and many fine art competitions in the state a d nationally.

This school and it teachers have really helped my daughter grow physically as well as spiritually. She had a rough start in Preschool because of her separation anxiety, but they continued to work with us and she just graduated K5 this year at GHBS. We love the teachers and the small class size. My daughter has learned so much and they keep pushing her to learn more. I also love that they foster my daughters relationship with the Lord. She has grown so much. I highly recommend this school!

My son attended his 10th thru 12th grades there. Excellent teaching staff. Excellent in developing skills & talents of my son. Really trained & led my son to what the Lord may have for him next. AS I see my son ready to start college this fall we were really Blessed thru his time spent BHBS.

If you are looking for a school where your children can get an education with a Biblical worldview...this is it. The classes are small, which allows the teachers to not only teach, but also minister to the needs of your children and your family. The students are very well rounded, with opportunities to participate in fine art activities (choirs, bands, speeches, arts), Bible quizzing, and sports. This little school consistently does very well at the area Old Dominion Association of Church Schools academic and fine arts competition in the spring. While these other things are available, the focus of the school is building character and spiritual growth while attaining a good education.
