Hazelwild Farm Education Foundation

5325 Harrison Road
Fredericksburg, VA 22407
Hazelwild Farm Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the academic and physical development of children and adults.
This is accomplished through enrollment in our Country Day School, Summer Camp Program, Community Riding Program, University of Mary Washington Equestrian Program and the Hazelwild Heroes Therapeutic Riding Program.
Hazelwild Farm is located in Spotsylvania County Virginia on the six hundred acre ancestral homestead of Anna Elizabeth Morrison.
Miss Morrison was a dairy farmer / public school teacher and coach.
She established the Foundation to continue her life-long career of education and care for children.
Hazelwild has served the greater Fredericksburg community for more than forty five years as a summer boarding and day camp, pre-school and riding facility.
Children who attend today have grandparents and parents who also rode or came to school or camp here.
At Hazelwild, children have an opportunity to observe farm life and to learn in an operating horse farm environment.
We strongly believe that education provides the greatest advantage for our future.
