Hope always says they are the small school with a big hug, and I have always felt that with our son. He started in pre-K at Hope and had one year at a public elementary school, and we pulled him out and brought him back to Hope. He is now just finishing 8th grade. It was the best decision we have ever made to help our son realize his full potential for both personal and academic growth. The new north campus is awesome and a huge win for the Hope facilities. Our son loves the new space. He has received a very strong preparation with a specific focus on math and other core subjects. He got into a very selective high school based on the work he has done, including doing well in all of his placement tests, etc. He has developed very strong relationships with the other kids and the fantastic teachers. Hope has been an incredible experience for him.

My daughter started here in 6th grade this year, and we are thrilled to be a part of the Hope community. The level of professionalism, kindness, sincerity, humility and overall community feel is incredibly high. Having been part of a close-knit community in the Seattle Public School district, we were worried that we would not find that in the private school sector. Boy, were we wrong. The greatness of this school starts from the top with Mrs. O, who knows all the kids by name and is out there every day meeting with the parents and students. Seattle Public School had gone in a direction that we didn't trust for our daughter. The agenda they pushed became a higher priority than academics. There was so much confusion and uncertainty. Switching to Hope has been extremely challenging academically for us (which Mrs.O told us we would see), but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I absolutely love watching (and helping) my daughter learn study habits, understand the importance of routine & hard work, make new friends amidst the hardships of puberty, and so much more. It has truly been a rich and rewarding experience for us. I love that the faith they teach aligns with our beliefs, but I also love that the Hope community is full of other faiths and beliefs that are all welcome there. I cannot express just how grateful we are to have joined this amazing group of students, staff and parents.

This was our 1st year at Hope, and even with the challenges of Covid, they did amazingly. Teachers go above and beyond, community is fantastic and the leadership at the school is strong. We can't wait until next year. Cannot say enough great things about this school!
