We wanted a school for our son that would put God at the center of his education and where he would be safe physically and spiritually. Immanuel Lutheran School provides all of that with small class sizes, an enclosed campus, and daily inclusion of Christ and scripture by teachers guided by a well-formed theology. ILS staff are communicative and genuinely care about putting us at ease regarding our son's education and welfare. I know he is in good hands when I drop him off, and the questions he asks me after school prove the growth ILS encourages in him.

This is such a wonderful school! The administration and the teachers genuinely care about the students and work very hard to ensure the students receive quality education. This is my son's first year at this school and he's learned more these years than in all the years at his previous school. I wish this school had a high school because we would stay through high school if they did. I would highly recommend this school to everyone wanting a quality education for their children!

My daughter is in the kindergarten class and has been attending the school since she was 3. I've always appreciated how much the school keeps the parents involved and up to date with my child's studies and how she is doing in school. We get weekly emails from her teacher which is also greatly appreciated. The school has small class sizes and constantly has after-school activities to keep students and parents involved. Would highly recommend it.

Immanuel is a wonderful school for both of my boys. They are being challenged and built up at the same time. I do wish there were more options for athletics, but it's understandable for a smaller school. They have a traditional schedule and curriculum which I appreciate, no woke or CRT worries here, just good old math science English history, and a good music program for the size. I am very happy that my boys are here, the staff and teachers care and it shows.

My daughter attended the preschool at Immanuel for 3 years. I feel because of her time and experience in the preschool that she is quite advanced socially and academically. In her short time there, Immanuel has gifted her with a deep love and trust in God, a community that feels safe and welcoming, and a passionate love for school and learning which will set her up for a bright and successful future. She is currently enrolled in Kindergarten and loves it. We have plans to remain at Immanuel through 8th grade if possible and are grateful to be part of this school. I would give my best recommendation to anyone looking for a quality, affordable, Christian education in Albuquerque.

When our daughter graduated from Immanuel to begin public high school she was more than prepared. The study habits she acquired were instrumental in her success. Immanuel has been around for 100 years and is a top-rated school in Albuquerque.

This is a Christ-centered, small school that emphasizes traditional values and academics. It has a strong parent base that enjoys working together with the staff to support students and their activities. There are a number of extracurricular activities and sports available and the eighth graders get to go on a graduation which is a great reward for hard work!

Music, art, and athletics are just some of the extracurricular programs available. This school has been around for almost 100 years and if you haven't checked it out for yourself, you are missing out!

I am a parent and alumni of Immanuel Lutheran School. I can't imagine a better place for my daughter to attend. I was well prepared here for educational success, and am so thrilled that my daughter will be as well.

My 3 children graduated and now 4 grandchildren attend this fine school. In addition to the great education received the careing enviroment builds confidence, morality, and personalities that enable success and healthy lifestyles. National Blue Ribbon Award winner! Immanuel is nationally accredited and award winning. The environment is caring and nurturing and the teachers treat the kids with respect. The academic program throughly prepares kids for the next step (high school) and beyond. There is a large selection of sports and other extracurricular activities as well. I am glad to have my daughter at such an excellent, well rounded school.

Immanuel is my home. My family moved to Albuquerque in 1999 and I immediately began going to the school and church. I loved the middle school and the majority of the teachers that I had are still there. They are fantastic, welcoming and help to challenge you intellectually. By the time I reached high school, I was so far advanced, AP classes were a breeze. When I reached college, I went back to Immanuel as a preschool teacher. I taught for two years and miss it everyday that I have left. The family atmosphere is like no other. You will not find a church & school like this one, everyone truly cares and wants the best for each individual student.
