Kanawha Christian School's purpose is to help Christian parents equip their children to serve God in His world by providing a Christ-centered, academically excellent education.
Kanawha Christian School is maintained for the purpose of educating children in the knowledge of God's world.
The purpose of this school is to help students understand the relationship of God's general revelation in creation to God's special revelation, the Bible.
Furthermore, an equally important purpose of the school is to equip students to live a life of Christian service to God in his/her home, church, community, country, and in the world.
Each child is a distinctively created personality, created in the image of God, but distorted by sin.
The purpose of the Christian school is to nurture the restored image of God in the child who needs to be understood, respected, loved, and guided; to develop his skills, talents, and capabilities to the fullest; and to give a feeling of security as a responsible citizen of the Kingdom of God and our society.
The curriculum is essential to the process of education. The curriculum must be flexible and in harmony with the teachings of Holy Scripture.
The curriculum must be based upon the demonstrated needs of the individual in our changing world.
