Play based, child focused, grounded in research and centered in love - Chapel School uses a carefully designed process - called "active participatory learning" - to achieve powerful, positive outcomes. In our HighScope classrooms, children are guided to explore, interact, and exercise their creative imagination through purposeful play. Well-prepared teachers support and extend each child`s learning based on their developmental levels, so children enter school ready and eager to learn.

Our teachers work in partnership with parents and other family members to promote children`s learning. They provide information about the curriculum and early learning, invite family members to participate in classroom activities, discuss children`s progress, and share ideas for extending classroom learning in the home. As a result, families have a better understanding of how their children are developing and learning.
Chapel School is an outreach ministry of Memorial Lutheran Church.
