In 1981, Michigan Dunes Montessori was incorporated with the goal of providing Montessori education to the children of Muskegon County and all surrounding areas.
Michigan Dunes Montessori provides students with an exceptional education following the principles of Maria Montessori.
With the inclusion of parents, each child is aided in reaching his or her full potential, academically, socially and emotionally.
Michigan Dunes Montessori has also earned the reputation for following the development of the child , offering the most respectful and nurturing treatment.
At Michigan Dunes Montessori opportunities abound for involvement in the classroom, on field trips, and assisting with fund raisers.
Parents may also participate in the Parent Involvement Committee which coordinates family social events, volunteers and other projects.
Additionally, seminars are offered throughout the year for parent education in Montessori philosophy and for development of parenting skills.
