School Notes

  • Christian parents have Biblical mandate to educate their children to love, honor, and obey their Lord.
  • This requirement is expressed in Proverbs "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Oak Level Baptist Academy exists for the express purpose of aiding parents in fulfilling that responsibility.
  • In an attempt to accomplish that task in a successful manner, the faculty and staff will make every effort to see that students trust Christ as their Savior and then train them to become good, Godly Christian young people.
  • Every class, therefore, is designed to give each student a maximum knowledge of secular subjects along with the essentials of culture in light of God's Word.
  • Any parent who has educational and spiritual expectations for his children which differ from the stated purpose is likely to be dissatisfied with Oak Level Baptist Academy.
  • The Word of God is the final source for our instruction in spiritual matters.
  • We have a two-fold Bible emphasis: to show each student his need of Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and to present the Bible as God's absolute standard for moral conduct.
  • Accreditation of a private Christian school is not necessary for a graduate of the school to be accepted in any college or university.
  • Entrance to these is based on attainment of a high school diploma and scores on nationally standardized tests.
  • We do issue a state-recognized diploma.
  • Therefore, we do not seek state approval or accreditation but do endeavor to provide the highest possible academic program, so that our students can enter any institution of higher learning to which the Lord leads them.
