Overview
The teachers and staff at Eastlake KinderCare are passionate about educating and nurturing children.
Our teachers have an average tenure of five years at our center and an average of fifteen years in the Early Childhood Education field.
The majority of our teachers have their Child Development Associate's credential or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.
The Eastlake KinderCare team strives for excellence through continuing education from bi-annual company professional development trainings to seeking additional college courses or seminars in the Education field.
At the end of the day, the true key to our teacher's success is their passion for teaching and their love of learning.
Bonita Learning Academy has been serving the South Bay Community since 1998, offering a bilingual, academic, multicultural school. Focus on the whole Child Development Abilities, especially in the social-emotional area. We are part of the San Diego Quality Preschool Initiative, a component that supports our school's work on quality and annual goals and plans in the areas where children need the most support.
Conveniently located just east of the 805 freeway, Bonita Learning Academy is a place where children have joy and learn through a carefully crafted curriculum that supports the development of each individual's potential in two languages (English & Spanish).
At Bonita Learning Academy, we recognize that children are, from birth, creatures of multiple intelligences and different learning approaches, such as observing, listening, absorbing, and classifying information in many diverse ways, as well as doing, playing, etc.
At the same time, they are absorbing the values and culture of family and Community. By the time a child is approaching the fifth year of life, the experiences offered by infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergartners can serve as enrichment and a safe introduction to a larger, loving, and caring Community.
