Our family's experience with PCS has been fantastic. The warm atmosphere and the sense of a supportive community were really the standout qualities of the school. The diversity and the international student body are also unusual and wonderful. Also notable — the faculty and staff seem to have a deep connection to each other and a sense of mission to provide the best possible experience for the hardworking, high-achieving students who find their way to PCS. Every single person we dealt with among the faculty and staff was caring, engaged, helpful, and committed, from the spectacular head of school, Dr Dawson, all the way to the lovely person at the front desk, and everyone in between. Our kid made personal and creative/ artistic connections with other students and received excellent support from teachers and advisors. Visiting the school was always a pleasure. As you would imagine, the student performances at the concerts and talent shows are really wonderful. The complete lack of pushback our family received from the school when we had to change our kid''s school schedule to fit his work commitments and prioritize his personal development in his field was just a revelation. Everyone is on board, and everyone is helpful, responsive, and communicative. Teachers went out of their way to make it work whenever our kid needed it. The positivity and warmth of the place, and the engagement of every person who works there, make PCS the special place it is.

As the parents of Ana Lucia Ferris, choosing PCS has been one of the best decisions we''ve made for her. The small class sizes made a real difference from the start, allowing her teachers to truly know her, challenge her, and support her well-being. The faculty is warm and approachable, and school leadership is present and accessible, creating a personal and supportive environment. Dr. Dawson, the principal, consistently helps students and parents feel guided and cared for while balancing academic and personal life with clarity and warmth.What stands out most is the community. Ana Lucia is surrounded by students who are strong academically and also excel in sports, theater, dance, music, and other areas. Effort and excellence are recognized in all forms, and that has been deeply inspiring for her.We are very grateful for PCS-for an excellent education, growing confidence, close friendships, meaningful mentors, and values she will carry long after graduation.

I'm a junior at PCS; I transferred here last year to pursue ballet at a more professional level and found a second home. Every staff member, ranging from teachers to the chefs, goes out of their way to support and comfort students and make it a loving, safe environment. PCS is a very close-knit community; there's always someone to talk to regardless of their grade or profession. Coming to PCS, I did not expect to find the community I did. While everyone has their professions and extracurriculars, it still feels like a normal high school in the sense that everyone jokes around with each other and there are no barriers between kids' social life at school and their professions. The teachers are very understanding and flexible when it comes to assignments, and the staff is very big on hearing out students when it comes to new ideas, creating clubs, or getting involved. Because the class sizes are small, teachers get to know the students and give personal advice.

PCS is a wonderful school, the teachers are very kind and make the classes fun and engaging, and the community is to close knit and has a real warmth.

PCS is an inordinate school with great teachers, classmates, and facilities. The classes are small, giving students one-on-one attention from teachers. There is an impactful feeling of community through the students and staff. Each class is engaging, and the teachers truly love their jobs. The ability to create a flexible schedule and not worry about missing a class is game-changing. Students are able to balance their academic life while excelling in their professions.
