Regina Academy at St. John the Baptist is a private Catholic
school serving preschool through eighth grade students in
Ottsville, Pennsylvania. Inspired by our mission,"Together in

At Regina Academy at St. John the Baptist, education is more
than the transmission of knowledge; it is the formation of the
human person - both natural and supernatural. Inspired by the
Catholic vision of the human person, we seek to help students
discover their God-given purpose and grow in wisdom, virtue, and a
lifelong love of learning. We teach studentshow to think, not
what to think, developing their ability to reason, ask meaningful
questions, seek truth, and engage the world with faith and
confidence.
Our Montessori Preschool program provides a nurturing,
faith-filled environment where young children develop independence,
confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Through the
Montessori method and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, our youngest
students are invited to encounter Christ and grow in their
relationship with Him through prayer, exploration, and discovery.
Our preschool experience honors the child's natural desire to learn
while helping them develop a strong spiritual and academic
foundation.
For students in kindergarten through eighth grade, Regina
Academy offers a Classical Catholic education grounded in the
Liberal Arts tradition. Our curriculum is infused with a Catholic
worldview, forming students academically, spiritually, and morally.
Students study literature, history, science, mathematics, Latin,
and logic while learning to recognize truth, goodness, and beauty
throughout their education.

Two years ago, I decided to make the change from a public to a private school for my children. I have not looked back. It isn't the right decision for everyone, but for us the small classes, individual help and pure love with spiritual growth was and still is exactly what my children needed. As a former Pennridge Teaching Assistant, a former soccer coach at Deep Run, and a member of my children's prior PTO, I'm well aware parental involvement is the key to a successful child. Sometimes you need more. That is what we found at Regina Academy at Saint John the Baptist.
