Reid Temple Christian Academy (RTCA) offers a Christ-centered education with emphasis in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
RTCA serves approximately 300 students in pre-K (age two) through grade eight at one campus in Glenn Dale, Maryland.
RTCA is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization sponsored and supported in part by the Reid Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church located on the same campus.
RTCA is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
Our students are immediately prepared to embrace the full aspect of knowing which is hard to accomplish in the traditional bureaucracy of public school systems.
Our teachers have created a ''Community of Learners'' where everyone participates in the answering process and analysis, which creates effective group learning dynamics.

Does this school use the "Abeka Curriculum"? I hope and pray that you do. We have homeschool are daughter since preschool. She is going into the eight grade this up coming school year, and we are ready introduce her to a private school with moral and principles with structure from the holy bible. But you must have the Abeka Curriculum. Thank you for taking the time to replied. Great Day Mrs. Proctor
