We are so grateful for St. George School in Tinley Park! From the very first day, we felt welcomed-not just into the school, but into the parish community as well. Even though we are not Catholic, we are seriously considering converting because of the warmth, faith, and sense of belonging that surround this community. The Word of God is woven into all instruction, and our child attends Mass with their peers, which has been a beautiful experience for both them and us as a family. The school is diverse, and every child is treated with dignity and love. The teachers do more than teach academics-they model kindness, respect, and gratitude every day. A strong theme at St. George is helping students understand others by "walking in someone else's shoes." When problems arise (as they do in any school), the focus isn't just on discipline but on teaching children how to handle conflict respectfully, listen carefully, and grow in empathy. We never saw this approach in public school, and it has made such a difference in our child's life. Students also learn to be more thankful for what they have, which is an important value in today's world.Communication with parents is outstanding. Teachers and administrators share the good things our child is doing, while also partnering with us whenever challenges come up to find real solutions. It truly feels like a team effort between school and home. We are so happy to be part of this amazing community at St. George. If you are considering Catholic education, I highly recommend calling the office to schedule a tour-you'll see firsthand the love, faith, and excellence that shine here.

This school provides a loving and caring home for my child. I could not be more pleased with my choice in a school. The teachers always have the students best interest at heart and are eager to help when needed. The students who graduate from St. George are active members in the community such as Doctors, Mayors and Principals of other learning institutions. My student has a strong footing going into highschool and his scores on the ACT Aspire are strong and support his report card grades.
