Established in 1946, the school has been named as a U.S.Department of Education Blue Ribbon School three times and is theonly elementary school so designated in Tyler.
The mission of St. Gregory is the fulfillment of theeducational ministry of the Catholic Church and has as its primarygoal the on going formation of the Christian person.
It aims at the development of the individual's moral,intellectual, social, cultural, and physical endowments.
As a Catholic educational community we believe that St. GregoryCathedral School exists to provide a unique service to the parishand to the wider community by affording students the opportunity todevelop Christian values, achieve academic excellence, and todiscover personal talents.

My children have been going to St. Gregory Cathedral School for the past 5 years, and it has been a great experience. I love the community of the school and how connected I feel to the teachers and staff. The whole staff seems to know and love my children and want them to exceed academically and spiritually, which is awesome!
