St. Ignatius Catholic School (Closed 2006)

2317 Brinkley Road
Fort Washington, MD 20744
The outstanding purpose of Catholic Education is to pass on, as Christians of every generation have, the faith of Jesus Christ within the community of the Church which nourishes that faith, and to give witness to this Christian community by service to its members.
Our primary reason for existence is to bring the dream of the Kingdom of God to those who yearn for it; to teach authentically and to explain clearly the Roman Catholic faith.
We strive to develop the whole person... to develop not only the intellect but also Christian spirituality... dignity and worth as a human being... moral character and virtue... physical abilities as well as personal and social responsibilities.
