As parents of two St. Mark's alumni, we've seen firsthand the incredible impact of a St. Mark's education. Our boys thrived in small classes with rigorous academics and enriching electives, guided by teachers who pushed them toward excellence while nurturing them spiritually. They loved playing numerous sports, and we proudly cheered on our favorite Lions! The faith-based environment was invaluable to us as parents and helped shape their spiritual foundation. When our oldest child was ready for kindergarten, we visited several schools in the area, both public and private. Our visit to St. Mark's left us with no doubts that this was where our children needed to be. Our son and daughter both spent 9 years at St. Mark's and the educations they received gave them the tools to succeed in both high school and college. Our son is now an engineer, and our daughter is in medical school. Their success is truly rooted in the academic and spiritual excellence of St. Mark's Cathedral School.

St. Mark's Cathedral School has been a wonderful experience for our family. Between our two children, we have experienced the Little School, Lower School and now Middle school. Both of our children have thrived academically, socially, and spritually. We have been consistently impressed at the challenging curriculum, loving and supportive faculty and staff, and the wide variety of extra curricular options to meet each of our children's varied interests and learning styles. St. Mark's also integrates Christian principles into the fabric of each school day. We have loved that our children have been given the opportunity to grow in their relationships with God through weekly chapel services, Christian education classes, and various service projects throughout the school year. There is no doubt St. Mark`s provides the best education from PS2-8th grade in the Shreveport-Bossier area. This school gave me the foundation to succeed in all areas of high school. I felt very ahead of my classmates from other schools. To this day, the school continues to thrive and uphold its reputation for its outstanding academics.
