My children have been attending TBS preschool for several years, including the Torah Tots program. We have had nothing but an incredible experience with TBS. We love the teachers, staff, clergy, students, and families. Pam Ranta is the preschool director and she has created a wonderful environment for the children with a Reggio Emilia approach to the program. The children are valued and supported for their individuality and are given some control over their own learning process. It is my own observation that with this type of program, children's natural talents flourish and their weaknesses strengthened. I also appreciate the diversity at TBS. Although it is a Jewish preschool (Reform), I would estimate that about 30% of the families are not Jewish. TBS welcomes families from all walks of life and is very socially progressive. I wish all schools could be so socially responsible and respectful. I looked at many preschools before deciding on TBS and I know I made the right choice for my family. My only issue with TBS is that they don't have an elementary school as well!
