At a Glance: The 2026-2027 school year is our 44th year serving our community in downtown Bethesda! We offer three spacious mixed-age Primary Montessori classrooms for 3-6 olds, and a Toddler classroom for 2 year olds (no potty training needed for the little ones). Our lead teachers hold Masters Degrees in Montessori Education (Association Montessori Internationale), and our long-term staff are experienced and well trained. We offer a fully licensed childcare, and accredited Kindergarten Progam and Montessori Program (including prestigous licensing from Montessori Schools of Maryland). All children attend school from 9-12, at the minimum, Monday through Friday, from September to June. Prekindergarten-age children (4 year olds) and kindergarten children (5 years old) have advanced Montessori studies until 3pm. French, Art and Music are part of our curriculum. An after-school program is offered until 6pm, offering creative play as well as scheduled activities such as soccer, Tae Kwon Do, Children's Yoga, Sporting Games, Music and more. Before-school care is available from 8am to 9am upon request. There is no discrimination made in the selection of students or staff on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Application and fee schedules are available on this Web site, or you may request them by phone. We offer one month of summer camp in June. Enrollment: We begin accepting applications one full year in advance of attendance. Personal tours will be arranged by appointment only. Acceptances are offered on a first come first serve basis, preference is given to siblings of current or alumni students.
