The Covenant School of Jacksonville is truly a hidden gem tucked beneath the beautiful canopy of oak trees. From the moment we first stepped onto campus, there was a sense of warmth, peace, and genuine community that immediately stood out to our family. After touring many schools throughout the area, we knew almost instantly that this was the right place for our children. It felt different in all the best ways - academically excellent, spiritually grounded, and filled with joy.The school provides a rigorous academic experience while also nurturing each child''s individual gifts and character. Teachers challenge students to grow intellectually while creating classrooms where children feel supported, encouraged, and excited to learn each day. The balance between strong academics and a joyful environment is something that can be difficult to find, but Covenant does it beautifully. Our children are not only learning, but truly thriving. One of the things we appreciate most is the wide variety of enriching extracurricular opportunities available, even for the youngest students. From ballet classes in Pre-K to intramural sports beginning in kindergarten, students are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence, and develop friendships outside the classroom. The school does an excellent job creating a well-rounded experience that supports the whole child academically, socially, physically, and spiritually. What truly makes Covenant exceptional, however, is its remarkable sense of community. Every staff member takes the time to know each child and parent by name, creating an atmosphere that feels personal, safe, and welcoming. There is a genuine partnership between the school and families, and parent involvement is encouraged through thoughtful events, volunteer opportunities, and activities that bring everyone together on campus. It feels less like a school and more like an extended family. Most importantly, our children are growing in their relationship with Jesus every single day. Through weekly chapel, prayer, Scripture-based lessons, and faith-centered learning woven throughout the curriculum, they are developing strong biblical values and a deeper understanding of God''s love. We have seen tremendous growth not only academically, but also emotionally and spiritually.Since transitioning from public school, the difference in our children has been incredible. Their happiness, confidence, excitement for learning, and overall demeanor have completely transformed. They wake up eager to go to school each morning, and as parents, there is no greater blessing than knowing your children are loved, encouraged, challenged, and cared for in such a meaningful way.We are beyond grateful to be part of the The Covenant School of Jacksonville community and wholeheartedly recommend it to any family seeking an excellent education grounded in faith, character, and genuine community.

We''ve had the privilege of being part of The Covenant School of Jacksonville community for 14 years, first as First Baptist Academy and now as Covenant. One of our children has graduated and is now thriving in college, and we currently have four still enrolled. From the beginning, our desire was to provide our children with a Classical Christian education, and we are so thankful we chose this school. The small class sizes allow each child to be truly known and supported, and the teachers and staff genuinely care, investing in both academics and spiritual growth. They do a wonderful job recognizing each child''s unique achievements and encouraging them to grow in character and confidence. The size of the school creates a close-knit, family-like atmosphere that has been a true blessing to our family. We are deeply grateful for the impact this school has had on our children and would wholeheartedly recommend it.

My wife and I have been looking for the perfect balance in a private, Christian school ever since we moved to Jacksonville in 2016. Our search is over. We have found here great academics, quality sports and fine arts, and most importantly a spiritually focused atmosphere. The children and their families are committed to their faith in local churches. That is the Covenant difference. A school must be more than Christian in the curriculum. It must have Christian students.

My daughters (Currently 12th & 8th Graders) have each been a part of Covenant since Kindergarten. My husband and I have been pleased with the academic rigor and Christian environment the school offers. Our daughters have had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of different activities including playing on athletic teams, participating in fine arts as well as the ability to compete in various academic competitions.
