Gow is a wonderful choice for small classes and focused education for kids with learning differences. My daughter loves the 1:1 interaction with her teachers and the caring community. She has developed both her academic skills and her independence over the past four years and is ready to tackle university next year!

The Gow school has provided a life-changing experience for our sons. We reviewed and visited a number of different schools for students with language-based learning differences and are pleased we found Gow. It provided the social, safe, and caring environment as well as the academic support and rigor our son needed. After graduating from Gow, he was ready for college and has been successful in applying the tools and learning strategies he received at Gow. Our second son is now also attending Gow and in just a few months he's become a happy and confident student who I'm sure will thrive just like his older brother once he graduates from Gow. The campus, teachers, administrators, and ground crew provide a truly wonderful and nurturing community that you expect from a small boarding school like Gow. There are plenty of opportunities (sports, clubs, outings) for students can join for fun outside of the academic program. All in all, Gow came through on their promise to ensure my kids would succeed academically and thrive as young adults.

The Gow School was life-changing for our family. We have one Gow graduate and a current student. At Gow they approach every student holistically--providing academics that are rigorous and evidence-based, addressing each individual's social-emotional needs, and supporting each student in developing their character. As a school that serves students with Dyslexia and language-based learning differences, Gow provides the gold standard in reading instruction. Their founder was a contemporary of Orton and Gillingham and his methods informed their work. In addition to this proven method for reading and spelling instruction, Gow instructs students in the use of assistive technology according to their individual needs. My Gow graduate was well-prepared for college and thrived there. Gow is an amazing place for mission-appropriate students! The way they teach language is like a miracle and a breath of fresh air for kids who have tried their local, or other solutions. This is worth every penny! My son is now at a great college with a great future, and it was not on that track before Gow. He played on the ski team and loved it. The most valuable thing he takes into his future is the relationship with extraordinary teachers who really care and are dedicated so much to making him successful. Go visit Gow.
