The Montessori House offers children a remarkable learning experience based on Maria Montessori`s insights and materials.
Each year about 75 pupils participate in a rich variety of programs for children ages 2-1/2 to 6, including half-day, full-day and after care options plus summer camp.

The Montessori House is the only pre-school in Northeast Bergen County that is a Verified Member School of the American Montessori Society (AMS). That means all our lead teachers have earned their Montessori credentials, including over 1 year of course work and a 1 year practicum (student teaching).
All our Montessori classes have a student:teacher ratio of 10:1, usually less. Overall the school student:teach ration is about 7:1.
We offer both full day and half-day programs for children between the ages of 2-1/2 and 1st grade, plus After Care until 6 p.m. and Before Care from 7:30 a.m.
We also offer special after-school classes from 3 to 4 p.m.
