The Resonance Lab (TRL) is a nature-based, wellness-centered microschool in Blue Ash, Ohio, serving grades K8.
Students learn in mixed-age cohorts through hands-on, project-based experiences that integrate strong academics with emotional wellness and leadership development.
With a focus on outdoor learning, personalized instruction, and real-world application, TRL helps students grow in confidence, self-awareness, and purpose.

The Resonance Lab (TRL) is a nature-based, wellness-centered microschool in Blue Ash, Ohio, serving students in grades K8. As a state-recognized non-public chartered school, TRL provides a personalized, strengths-based learning environment where students are known, supported, and challenged to grow academically and personally. Students learn in mixed-age cohorts, fostering collaboration, leadership, and a strong sense of community across grade levels. Our approach integrates literacy, math, science, and social studies through hands-on, project-based learning experiences rooted in real-world themes such as identity, community, and innovation. Curriculum is responsive to each group of learners-shaped by their interests, strengths, and developmental needs-while remaining aligned to academic standards and the science of reading. Nature is a core part of the learning experience. Students engage in regular outdoor exploration, movement, and wellness practices that support focus, regulation, and overall well-being. Rather than separating academics from social-emotional growth, TRL intentionally weaves leadership development, reflection, and self-awareness into the daily rhythm of the school day. At The Resonance Lab, we believe education should honor the whole child. Through a relationship-driven, small-school environment, students build confidence, resilience, and the ability to think critically, collaborate effectively, and lead with authenticity-preparing them not just for the next grade level, but for life.
