As an alum of Valley Beth Shalom Day School, it has been incredibly meaningful to now send my own children there. I have had two children attend VBSDS, and our experience has been nothing but positive.My daughter graduated last year and was very well prepared for middle school, both academically and socially. She transitioned with confidence and ease. My son is currently in 5th grade and is having an excellent experience. He is challenged academically, supported by thoughtful and caring teachers, and truly enjoys being at school each day.VBSDS provides a strong academic foundation, a nurturing environment, and a warm, close-knit community. It is a special place that helps children grow into confident, capable, and compassionate individuals. I am proud to be both an alum and a parent at Valley Beth Shalom Day School and highly recommend it to other families.

Without a doubt, VBSDS has been the greatest gift to our family. Our high schooler thrives thanks to the foundational skills he learned at VBSDS and many of his best friends today are from his VBSDS days. Our first and fourth graders come home singing songs from school and excited to share what they have learned. My daughter hates being sick because when she stays home she misses her teachers. I call that a win! A top-notch education that inspires joy - what could be better? As an added bonus, my husband and I have found our best friends here in this community. We could not be happier.

Valley Beth Shalom Day School has been so much more than just a school for our family - it has been the most incredible and meaningful community we could have ever hoped for.My daughter is an alumna of VBSDS, and watching the way she now carries herself through public middle school with confidence, pride, and a strong sense of self, I know so much of that foundation was built during her elementary years here.My fourth-grade son has also grown tremendously in his confidence and the way he thinks. He asks the most clever, thoughtful questions and often shares insights that make me forget he's only nine.In addition to the amazing education both of my children received, they also developed a genuine love for playing sports and how to be a good team player at VBSDS and, just as importantly, formed friendships that I truly believe will last a lifetime - friendships that often feel more like chosen family than classmates.We are endlessly grateful to be part of this community and for the role it has played in shaping who our children are becoming.

VBS Day School is our second home! We spent over 10 years at the Day School and loved every minute. The community is so warm and welcoming. Some of the closest friends I've made are from VBS. Now that my kids are in middle and high school I can say that VBSDS definitely prepared them for the next steps in their educational journey. VBSDS taught them to ask questions, think critically, be leaders in the classroom or on the field, and just to be kind humans. VBS Day School provides the very best education for my child! He is thriving in his kindergarten class and comes home excited to return to school each day. The dual curriculum and Hebrew immersion style of teaching are so outstanding! I continue to be impressed by VBSDS each day and know I made the right decision!
