Notes for Prospective Students
Upcoming Event: Open House on Sunday, February 22 at
1:00pm: Welcome to the beginning of your
journey with Willow Tree Montessori. The following steps will guide
you through the admissions process and outline what you can expect
during your journey. Apply today, as we have limited spaces
available for the 2026-27 school year!, apply to Willow Tree
Montessori as soon they are able. First
Step: We encourage families to complete to complete the first step. Once
submitted with a New Family Application Fee of $100, parents will
receive a decision on placement for your child. Second
Step: Receive an Enrollment Agreement. A timely
decision will be made regarding your child's placement at WTM.
Admission decisions are based on three factors: (1) The family's
ability to support Montessori pedagogy and the WTM community, (2)
the needs of the existing class with regard to age and gender to
balance the overall community, and (3) the Parent Interview during
the initial tour of the school campus and meetings with the
teaching staff. Third Step: Return the
Enrollment Contract. If a position is offered to your family, we
ask that you fill out and return the Enrollment Agreement, along
with a non-refundable Tuition Deposit of 10%
within 1 week. Upon receipt of a non-refundable
Tuition Deposit and Enrollment Agreement, we will secure a place
for your child in our program. Fourth
Step: Child Visit. Once the Enrollment Agreement has
been submitted, your child will be invited to Willow Tree
Montessori to visit the environment for a short period of time. It
is an opportunity to experience the specially prepared environment
and allows the Guide to see your child respond and move within it.
This is an important interaction that will enable a bond to begin
forming between your child and his/her teacher.
