I`m the parent of two recent graduates and I am happy with how well Bancroft served both of my children. Their college experiences were very successful but more importantly, they learned who they wanted to be. The faculty are caring and very student-focused. The academics are first-rate. The students are a nice group of young adults. My children took part in the award-winning theater and competitive speech programs, but the Robotics Team is also powerful. Very importantly, after a few years of admittedly questionable leadership at the top, there is a new Head of School who is positively impacting the school and where it is going. You can feel the difference between this new leadership in both the students and faculty. If you want a school where your child is academically prepared for whatever comes next, is known and cared for by the faculty, and has opportunities to stretch themselves and grow into who they can be, Bancroft might be the place for you.

I am a parent of an Upper School student and a recent graduate. Both of my children have thrived at Bancroft. Bancroft is a tight-knit community in which students are truly known. Kids find their passion here, whether it is robotics, athletics, theater, or rock band. The teachers are talented, creative, and accessible...and truly love kids.

We`ve had two children go K-12 at Bancroft and can`t say enough good things about it. It`s academically superb - and students go on to great colleges - but somehow manages to avoid the rigid, pressure cooker environment of many strong schools. The "learning lab" approach to teaching makes their learning more engaging and real, and the kids love it. Great sports and extra curriculars too! Love it!

Best school ever! They support kids with learning issues by having them in their own class and a school day is very productive, you never sit their and do a worksheet, you are playing games related to the subject you are doing and having fun while you do it.
