Inspired by the inherent and unique gifts of our students and graduates, De Marillac Academy, located in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco, ignites academic, spiritual, and social emotional growth through a Lasallian Vincentian Catholic educational experience. In partnership with families and community, through an all-scholarship 4th-8th grade Academy and Graduate Support Program, we accompany our students through middle school, high school and into early adulthood, as they develop a strong sense of self, purpose, and service to others.
At De Marillac Academy, we believe that another world is possible, and our students and graduates are a fundamental force for building it.
De Marillac is an all-scholarship 4th through 8th grade Lasallian Vincentian Catholic academy located in the Tenderloin, that provides educational, personal and financial support to our students and families during their years at De Marillac, through high school and into early adulthood.Through a personalized, culturally responsive educational experience grounded in faith and family partnerships, we encourage our students' growth and support them on their journey into adulthood.

De Marillac Academy is an educational family that provides an innovative, comprehensive and accessible Catholic education in the Vincentian and Lasallian traditions for children from underserved, low-income families in the Tenderloin and other at-risk communities in San Francisco. A De Marillac education emphasizes reading, written and oral communication, math, science, social studies, and religion. Students typically enter De Marillac below grade level, but the school bridges educational deficits with an intensive educational curriculum designed to prepare graduates to compete successfully in demanding high school environments. Additionally, De Marillac partners with Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory and Catholic Youth Organization to provide a mandatory summer school and summer camp program. The California Pacific Medical Center and the University of San Francisco also support De Marillac's counseling and health and wellness programs.
