A warm and caring environment where children thrive, both academically and emotionally. Fields of Green is a holistic, environment-based Montessori school. It is housed in a historic home, and it's a place where kids wear slippers, interact with the many animals in the classroom and outside in the barnyard. The director brings her dogs to school also, who are there to love and help each child throughout their days at school. Fields of Green is a learning community that is dynamic and ever-evolving and one that encourages family interaction and participation. We believe in the saying, "It takes a village to raise a child.".

A private Montessori school that provides all academic needs as well as social and emotional needs. We specialize in weaving Environmental Education into a traditional Montessori curriculum. Serving children from 12months to Grade 8.

We could not be happier with the education our son received as a pre-schooler at Fields of Green Montessori School. A true Montessori education with a focus on taking care of the earth-Fields of Green has built a community that takes care of the earth and one another. Without a doubt, our son is incredibly well prepared for Kindergarten, and we believe he has received the best foundation for success because of the caring, kind and professional staff at Fields of Green.

I am a mother and a teacher. Fields of green is a home that provides a place of acceptance which makes learning easier. I highly recommend this school to any family who is looking for a unique Montessori education run by knowlegable teachers.
