School Notes

  • Helena Christian School's mission is to educate students with academic excellence and biblical training, build Godly character, and inspire them to a life of service to their savior.
  • Our vision is for each student to follow Christ's call to impact the world.
  • Our school is dually accredited through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) and Cognia.
  • We are located in the Heart of the Rockies in Helena, Montana.
  • It is our desire to partner with families in providing an environment where we partner with parents in their child's education, character and spiritual growth. Students are challenged academically and curriculum is geared toward preparing students to pursue an advanced education. Smaller classroom sizes allow us to focus on each student and their particular needs and gifts.Strength of character is emphasized during teaching and classroom discussions. All students in 7-12th grades participate in community service as well as two special service days during the year where we go out as a group and serve the Helena Valley.Students have daily Bible classes as well as a weekly chapel. However, the Bible is integrated in all aspects of our curriculum. Each day starts with devotions and prayer. Our mission is for all students to come to know our Lord and Savior personally and grow in His Grace.

Helena Christian is like an extension of our family, with a solid foundation in Christ, academic rigor, and the ability for our kids to be able to play sports in a competitive, supportive atmosphere. It is truly incredible to watch students and staff pray for each other and encourage one another daily.

Both of my children attended HCS from kindergarten through graduation. The staff is amazing! It's been a blessing to know the teachers are speaking Truth into my children's lives. Even though my boys graduated in 2018 & 2020, their teachers still keep up with them & share the joys and sorrows of life as friends as well as mentors. It's not just a school; it's a family.

I love Helena Christian I am in 8th grade and I have been going since 5th grade, it is a really nice school. small, but you get to learn about God and be loud about your faith. The teachers are great and so much fun to talk to about school and outside of school as well.

My daughter adores her teacher, and the programming of her grade. This school is a wonderful resource to parents that want their children to be encouraged to follow their morality and ethics, as they are taught at home. I am comforted in the knowledge that while my daughter spends the majority of her day being taught by other people; that I will not have to 'reprogram' her as relates to what we have taught her to be good/bad or right/wrong. This is a wonderful learning environment that is dedicated to the holistic approach of educating children.

We have been blessed to have our kids in the school since kindergarten (going into 7th and 9th grade this year). The teaching staff is wonderful and tuition is very affordable.
