Nestled in the Montana Rocky Mountain foothills, Intermountain is a residential treatment center providing an array of services to 32 boys and girls, ages 5-13, struggling with emotional, psychological, behavioral and learning challenges. The educational program is administered by the Director who holds a Masters in Special Education and a K-12 Principal certification. Individualized plans are tailored to the unique learning styles and abilities of each student. Each classroom is staffed by a certified special education teacher, and two mental health specialists. Class size is 10-12 students. Students attend classes 6 hours/day, 210 school days per year. SMART boards, I-pads, and computers are integrated into the classrooms. Related services and activities include Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, neurofeedback, PE, Bal-A-Vis-X, music, art, and social skills.
