My family has had a wonderful experience with Hudson Country Montessori in Danbury. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed, respected, and confident in the staff's commitment to each child's growth-not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. I currently have one child in 1st grade and another in 5th grade. Last year my oldest daughter graduated from 8th grade & is doing extremely well moving on to High School this year.If you're looking for a school that values your child's individuality, fosters independence, and nurtures a caring community, Hudson Country Montessori is a wonderful option. We feel fortunate to have our child here and would recommend it to families looking for more than just academics in an early education setting from Infant room to 8th grade! I could not imagine my son at any other school. In fact, I tried another independent school and realized my mistake in the first three months and returned him to Hudson. My son's natural curiosity is encouraged and supported in all levels of learning. The faculty at Hudson care deeply about each child's social emotional growth as much as their intellectual growth. The balance of core subjects with extraordinary learning experiences provide a comprehensive educational experience. You will not be disappointed in the end of year musical! My personal favorite is the end of year art show. The amount of art projects that students produce throughout the year is remarkable due to the school's appreciate and focus on developing students' creativity. There are also extra opportunities for learning after school hours, from art to music to karate to ballet to lego engineering.

Hudson provided my daughter with an outstanding education.Her experience was transformative and remarkable.I fully credit the environment at Hudson for her tremendous success in high school.She was so prepared for high school academically and emotionally.She developed a love of learning and a confidence that she didn't have when she entered their program.The staff is exceptional and so dedicated to the success of their students.They foster a wonderful community of acceptance and encouragement.They not only teach the students to be incredibly successful academically, but they also teach them the importance of being exceptional human beings.My only regret is not finding Hudson earlier for her. I highly recommend Hudson Country Montessori to any parent.It was one of the best decisions I have made for my daughter's future success.

We moved our daughter to Hudson Country Montessori Elementary Program after her old elementary school left her bored and unchallenged. She's always been a curious kid, but we started to see her lose interest in learning-and that was a big red flag for us.Since starting at Hudson, we've seen a huge shift. She's engaged again, excited to share what she's working on, and learning how to manage her time more independently. The small class sizes and personalized attention make a real difference. She's challenged, but not overwhelmed, and she's gaining real-world skills that go beyond just academics.We've also appreciated how calm and thoughtful the school environment is. There's no pressure to fit in or rush through material-just a genuine focus on helping each child grow. We only wish we had made the switch sooner!
