We are seeking a passionate and dedicated AMI Montessori Toddler Guide to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will foster a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for toddlers, promoting their natural curiosity and love for learning. As an AMI Toddler trained professional, you will implement child-centered curriculum plans that support holistic development-cognitive, social, emotional, and physical-while adhering to AMI Montessori standards. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners to explore confidently and develop essential skills that lay the foundation for lifelong success. Responsibilities Create and implement developmentally appropriate AMI Montessori curriculum for 0-3 program, incorporating activities that promote literacy, math, physical development, and social skills. Facilitate a prepared environment that encourages independence, exploration, and self-directed learning among young children. Observe and assess each child''s progress regularly, documenting developmental milestones and adjusting lessons accordingly to meet individual needs. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR procedures. Communicate effectively with parents about their child''s progress, behaviors, and achievements through regular updates and conferences. Manage environment routines such as the morning work cycle, community snack time, outdoor play, rest periods, and transitions smoothly to foster a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues to develop a strong and cohesive staff environment. Stay informed about mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and ensure all procedures are followed diligently. Skills AMI 0-3 Montessori Certificate Proven experience working with young children in educational or childcare settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred. Strong understanding of child development principles, including behavior management and environment management techniques. Ability to give AMI toddler presentations daily. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
