  • Montessori School of Fort Worth (formerly Montessori Children's House) has nurtured thousands of children and their families since it was established in 1968.Fort Worth`s first Montessori school is a child-centered, dynamic environment that is responsive to the changing needs of children as they grow and learn. Children from ages 18 months through 14 years are encouraged to learn by doing. They choose work from multi-sensory Montessori materials that provide them with experiences at a concrete level then progress toward abstraction by integrating complexity.Multi-age groupings give them the opportunity to learn from other students and to participate in cooperative projects. Interdependence rather than competition is encouraged to foster high self-esteem.All classrooms have teachers who have attended American Montessori Society teacher education courses. Our environment, both inside and outside, is carefully prepared to enhance learning with age appropriate activities that reflect the real world.Montessori School of Fort Worth is a fully accredited school with the American Montessori Society (AMS), the largest Montessori organization in the world. We offer enrichment classes such as Music, Spanish (starting in preschool) and art (starting in elementary). We invite you to visit Montessori School of Fort Worth to see this exciting approach to education in action.
