Fort Worth Country Day Photo #1 - Fort Worth Country Day (FWCD) is a JK-12 private, independent, coeducational, nondenominational college-preparatory school located on approximately 100 acres in Fort Worth, Texas. The mission of Fort Worth Country Day School is to foster the intellectual, physical, emotional, and ethical development of capable students through an academically rigorous college preparatory program that integrates the arts and athletics.
Fort Worth Country Day Photo #2 - FWCD seeks to cultivate global competence in all JK-12 students by weaving global perspectives into the curriculum, working with local partners to contribute to our Fort Worth community, and providing meaningful international travel and hosting exchanges. The Center for International Studies at FWCD prepares young people to make a difference in a complex and changing world.

Leadership opportunities abound on the playing fields, the performance hall, organizing committees and through community involvement. Fort Worth Country Day Photo #6 - The Kindergarten through Fourth Grade Lower School Music Program at Fort Worth Country Day seeks to cultivate within students a love for music and to develop musical literacy. Students engage in developmentally appropriate musical learning activities incorporating singing, movement, listening, games, Orff and rhythm instruments, folk dancing and World Music Drumming.
Fort Worth Country Day Photo #7 - Ballet is the major dance form taught at FWCD as ballet training gives dancers a solid foundation in several aspects of movement. Performance opportunities increase the students` style and stage presence. The ballet training at FWCD provides a solid technical foundation for the aspiring professional dancer and offers an enjoyable aesthetic experience for all students.

Great school but not for everyone. Been involved with this school for 17 years and seen many changes, some better than others. Of late, vision seems more about marketing and optics.

All 4 of our children are unique learners, and one has learning differences. Country Day addresses all their individual needs. Facilities are the best in the city. Gorgeous learning environment dedicated to educating the whole child. Sending our children here has been the single most important thing we`ve done for them. The faculty is like our extended family, and the investment is worth it!

100% of Country Day's students continue on to college after graduation. The music, arts, sports and extracurricular activities are outstanding and plentiful. The academics are rigorous but do-able. The term college prep really does describes Fort Worth Country Day. One of the best aspects of FWCD is the sense of community however. Teachers and students create a almost a family and a caring environment that fosters learning.
