The Oakridge School has been a wonderful place for my younger children who are in lower school. They feel genuinely safe, supported, and excited to learn every day. The growth I''ve seen in them, both academically and personally, has been remarkable. They''re surrounded by caring, dedicated teachers who truly invest in their students. We couldn''t be happier with our experience at Oakridge.

If your priority is raising confident, empathetic youth who are willing to step up for each other and become responsible citizens, this is the place. Our personal experience has been incredibly positive. Our child has felt supported, encouraged, and truly known. No student is forgotten or left behind, and each child is allowed to find their own niche. There really is something for everyone. It is worth mentioning that our child went from having little to no interest in writing to now considering communication and journalism as a potential college path. That kind of growth says so much about the emphasis on individualized growth. The school is big enough to offer growth opportunities, but still small enough to feel close-knit and supportive. The entire community, from teachers to administration, comes together in a way that truly feels like a family, where students feel valued and supported.

I am Student Body President of The Oakridge School, and I feel so supported by faculty and students. The environment is so welcoming, and I feel genuinely appreciated here. Oakridge grows more and more every year and prioritizes student input. This is a school of opportunity and family.

This school is amazing. We transferred in fourth grade. From the start, my son was engaged, challenged, and invigorated about school. They foster an amazing environment for learning, athletics and social/civic responsibility. The student body is very diverse as well. The main thing that stands out to us about Oakridge is the teachers and faculty. They are committed to their students beyond anything I could have expected. They go above and beyond to help, encourage and motivate the students. They assign projects that are stimulating, exciting and real world applicable. The communication from the administration is second to none. During the COVID closures and reopening, I have been continually impressed with the safety measures, organization and same commitment to education we have come to expect from The Oakridge School. We are continually grateful to the faculty, staff and full team at Oakridge for their commitment to my child's education, maturity and well-being!

This year we moved our 7yr old to Oakridge from another Arlington private school. The college preparatory framework at Oakridge is evident, even in first grade. We can see that study skills are being taught and there is a marked improvement in our child's handwriting, reading and math skills. We are very impressed with the communication we receive from teachers and school staff. We feel involved in our child's education and well informed of expectations and events. We are so glad we made the move to Oakridge.

This is my daughter's first year at Oakridge. She completed her kindergarten at another private institution. I have been so impressed with Mariya's improvements in reading and writing since she has started with Oakridge. When coming home, she is eager to finish her homework, and really demonstrates a desire for learning and reading that she previously did not show. The educators at this school have been very good with communicating with my husband and myself in terms of Mariya's progress, and sincerely are interested in my daughter's learning. So many of our friends have sent his/her children to Oakridge, and without hesitation have said it is money worth investing in for your child's future. After being a part of the Oakridge community and school for the past month, I completely agree!

I am pleased with the rigor of the classes. I feel that there is diversity, extracurricular and excellencent teachers.

The Oakridge School offers strong academics, a safe and friendly environment but most of all, a great community and village. We are pleased and continue to rave about our wonderful experience.

The Oakridge School is an excellent college preparatory school that has our complete confidence. They stretch the students while keeping them engaged and excited about their next opportunity and challenge. We couldn't be happier in our decision to send our children there!

This school is our family. It is were my kids have learned ad loved for more than 10 years. I am now a parent in Upper School and have to say they have kept every promise and my kids are college ready. From amazing MS clubs to awesome class trips we have loved it all.

The Oakridge school provides a challenging yet nurturing environment to ensure my kids are prepared for college. They wouldn't want to go anywhere else!

My English is really good and so is my spelling, I love music, and can sing too, acting and basketball and swimming are my best skills also.
