Margaret's House work to provide meaningful early childhood learning experiences.
We consider parents, their children's first and most consistent teachers, as our partners in this endeavor.
The program will focus on the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child, with consideration given to individual abilities and learning styles.
Play will serve as the basis for learning activities that will include opportunities for hands-on experimentation and discovery about the world.
The Margaret's House preschool program is designed to meet the developmental needs of the children.
Each classroom team develops its own curriculum, which includes activities focusing on cognitive and emotional development, socialization skills and physical development.
Literature-based activities play a large part in our preschool programs.
Classroom activities are often planned around a theme or topic of interest to the children.
Preschool classrooms are organized with learning centers that may include a block corner, science table, dramatic play area, and a variety of table toys.
One preschool classroom is designed to serve 14 three-year-old children with two teachers.
The other preschool classroom is designed to serve 16 four-year-old children with two teachers.
