he Harris School provided both a great learning and social atmosphere for our ADHD son, which is hard to find in the public setting. The small class size individual attention was very god for our son. He learned more as a student in this setting because of the specialized approach to his ADHD that The Harris School provided. We learned so much about our son as the specially trained teachers and other professionals worked with him and gave us guidance and understanding of how to best approach his unique situation. The staff was friendly and supportive and the administrator, Susan, went beyond what was necessary to accommodate us and make us, and our son, feel at home. It was a breath of fresh air to have our son go to school with people that truly understood him and we saw his grades rising as the Harris staff was able to apply the proper approach to our son's learning needs. We were in Houston for only a few months for a medical situation and then moved on, but we, and our son, have benefitted so much from our time at Harris. We wish we were Houstonians because Harris would be the place we would choose.
