As a parent, finding the right school for children who are also pursuing high-level sports can be incredibly challenging. We feel very fortunate to have found the Whitmore school. The academic program is rigorous and comprehensive, the teachers are wonderful, and there is an exceptional level of support throughout. What we have also appreciated is the flexibility it gives our children to balance serious academic work with the demands of an elite athletic career. They can study on their own schedule and at their own pace, while still receiving a high-quality education. The NCAA accreditation is another huge plus for student-athletes who may want to continue their sport at the college level and pursue academic and athletic opportunities there. As parents, we have also been extremely impressed by how responsive and accessible the staff is. Whenever we have a question or need support, we know there is someone there to help. The platform itself is intuitive and very easy for the students to navigate. Most importantly, we feel that this school understands that our children are not just students or athletes - they are both. The program gives them the space and flexibility to pursue their ambitions while keeping their education a priority. We are genuinely grateful for the experience and can only highly, highly recommend this school to any family looking for an excellent and flexible academic option, particularly for student-athletes.
