Putnam Science Academy is a private boy boarding school offering a comprehensive college preparatory program focusing on science, mathematics, and technology.
PSA is a small structured school delivering a rigorous, innovative educational program.
The first school year (2003-2004) the institution began with grades 9, 10, and 11 with an enrollment of about 54 students.
PSA will expand one grade per year to ultimately include up to grade 12, with a projected total enrollment of 200 students.
As the school grows, the size of the faculty will increase to maintain a student-teacher ratio of 16:1, ensuring personal attention for all students.
Putnam Science Academy strives to develop young men, locally and from around the world, who are committed to academic excellence and are engaged citizens. Our goal is to provide a challenging educational program to prepare all students for acceptance into the top universities in the United States and across the world.
